Think Fungus: Fungal Disease Awareness Week

With a recent surge in the number of Candida auris infections, the CDC has designated 8/14/17-8/18/17 Fungal Infection Awareness Week.  CDC and partners organized this effort to raise awareness of recognizing serious fungal infection early in a patient’s disease process so that timely and life-saving treatment can be provided.  Go to CDC’s Think Fungus: Fungal Disease Awareness Week page to learn more.
