The map helps state residents and out-of-state visitors visualize which Nebraska lakes are on health alert for Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs). The map is updated at midnight on Fridays throughout the summer recreation season (May-September), so you can plan your lake weekend and keep your family, friends, and pets safe!

Other states reported more cases, including Minnesota with two that include a child whose infection suggests community spread.
